These are a fantastic pair of hand tailored, 1930's style trousers.
Although a reproduction and appear to be late 80's/early 90's, they are true to a 1930's style:
They are black and the fabric appears to be 100% fine wool.
They are high waisted, are a looser fit and they have a front crease.
They feature a four button fly, with additional buttons on the inside waistband to allow for braces to buttoned on, as seen in the images below. There are also belt loops on the exterior of the waistband for a belt to be worn if preferred.
They are flat fronted, with two slanted side pockets and a single jetted pocket on the back right side, with a button through.
There are two buckles with straps at the side seams of the trousers below the waistband, to adjust the size and fit. When pulled in, this accentuates the fantastic shape of the trousers.
The trousers appear to be partly hand tailored, as indicated by the hand stitching around the inner part of the waistband and appear to be of European origin, as indicated by the embossing on the buttons "Paul Grunert, Berlin".
A really on-trend, vintage style of trouser.
