This stunning, electric teal-toned sleeveless blouse is by the luxury fashion house of 'Oscar de la Renta'. It is from the 2012 resort collection and is made in USA. It has a concealed zipper on the left side seam to ensure a body hugging and beautiful fitted silhouette.
It has some outstanding design details, including multiple, dramatic pleating and ruching at the front neckline with raw edging to give a deconstructed aesthetic feel. The pleats have been pressed flat and there is a seam at ribcage, both details again giving a flattering and high tailored effect.
This is an exceptional piece of craftsman/womanship and an investment piece for any collector's wardrobe.
It is in outstanding vintage condition.
Óscar de la Renta, was a Dominican fashion designer trained by Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio del Castillo. De la Renta became internationally known in the 1960s as one of the couturiers who dressed Jacqueline Kennedy.
